To see the real difference with the photo and what i have done to it, you need to see the original. I have changed it quite a bit, so i would appreciate it if you looked at the original, and if you like it, give it a fav too, cos i'm sure DeadSkarlett would like that.

Happiness is not eternal, it's not guaranteed. Happiness will end, sadness with ensue, but we just have to remember that sadness isn't eternal either. (:iconlightbulbplz: Poem idea) xD

That would make for a really good poem :) for me happiness and sadness can be eternal - for me they are just states of mind. It depends then on you what you choose.

Your environment changes your mood without you being able to control it. Yeah, a good mindset helps, but even then you can't choose your mood. That would suggest that people who are depressed are depressed because they choose to be, or that suicidal people are like that cos they choose to be. We can only control so much and our emotions...that isn't one of the things we can control.

Ah well it depends on the person then :) my environment fails in deciding my mood... usually. I mean if you were to observe, my environment as well as my present state of events are not really encouraging rather should be really depressing. But I am not depressed or disappointed ... perhaps slightly stressed though ^^; I am no superman ; but I am still happy as a happy cow :D although I don't know how happy the happy cow is :hmm:

Coming to your other argument. It depends on the person. Yes, if I were to commit suicide which I will probably not (not that I have had a very happy life) it would be because of me choosing to. But no, that is not always the case with people. So I don't speak on behalf of other people but at least my own happiness is in my control alone (ignoring any God like entity).

Ending it... I can control emotions which is why I have been the happiest man in cases no one would be able to muster a smile.

you cant control emotions >< i read what you put but some of it backed my argument up and not yours!the environmental thing is small changes. you are happy and walk into a stressed or a dark and depressing environment it tweaks your emotional state. only a small, barely there amount. and the longer you're there the more your emotions are tweaked, and changed.Obviously everyones different, some people last longer and take longer for their emotional state to be changed, others emotions get tweaked into different emotions then others, for instance like you said if you walked into depressing environment, you would be a little stressed maybe but nothing more. Thats the tweak, you don't tweak to a dark and depressing mood you get tweaked towards a stressed mood.
Yes, i see your point, the actual act of commit suicide is a choice,(though i do often say it's more of a last resort for people, it's a desperate choice if anything) but the emotions which brought them to that point aren't. They didn't choose to be in that state, they were forced there. Yes, some people could try harder, could fight against it more, but the feeling of being suicidal drains you. It makes you want to give up, to let go and just forget the pain and anguish. And the reason they feel that way is normally because of an outward force. Not by their choosing.

You can't control your emotions, and i'm sorry if it seems like i am not letting this go but i have always had this strong belief that everyone is equal. Some are better at some things then others, yes, but we are all equal, and i'm sorry if this seems blunt or if you take offense by this but you appear to take your controling of your emotions as something to be proud of, to the point where it seems like you are saying you are better then others.
Yes, you may resist it better then most, your emotions may only be tweaked to the less drastic of emotions, but that does not change the fact that you cannot control your emotions. it simply how your emotions where set out. You can't control them, it just so happens that's the way your emotional state was made. You resist changing in emotions, your emotions are only tweaked to the less drastic of emotions, but don't judge others based on that. Other peoples emotions are tweaked more strongly and toward much more harmful emotions. They have no choice in the matter, just like you don't.

(Side note: I wonder how many times i said the word "tweaked" or a variation of that in the above paragraphs... xD)
