Strike me.
Hate me.
Tell me how you wish i was dead.
Blood drips,
You smile,
Staring down at an innocent child.
I cry,
You laugh,
Childhood gone like a distant smile.
Belt cracks,
Pain flash,
Abusive father in a rage.
Vase smash,
Bone crack,
I'll never be able to walk again.
Hair grabbed,
Wall smack,
Lying on the floor cold dead.
Blue lights,
Jail time,
Abusive father locked away.
Child abuse is close to my heart. In this it depicts the story of a child being abused till she dies and the father ends up in jail.

hmm... before I start on this work as a critique I shall give you my perspective first. I will look at it as a work meant to emotionally express a bad... relate-able experience. I won't consider this from the utmost professional perspective.

I like the work. It is first of all, self explanatory... one does not need to read the description to know what this is about. Then the title works beautifully with it. Now about the work. The bolds and italics work as they add to the stress and feel. The form is one that is not exactly a customarily used one but experimenting is what makes it fun.

The emotions can be felt especially at the line "I'll never be able to walk again". I would wish you the best and happiest future and pray that you are able to overcome what ever experience you had.

Love
SMSK did you really need to add the name at the end??? I mean it is at the top and she knows it is not from DR. WHO!
